We currently use Stripe in one of my companies but I am looking to move over to a different provider. I presume that one of the reasons they "have more cash than they know what to do with" is that they stash payments for 7 days before paying it out. It takes 7 days for us, as a vendor to get access to our money (which has been immediately debited from our customer) and when we refund a customer, it takes 7 days to reeach her, even though we (of course) cannot touch it anymore. Nobody else I know of does this.
